Whether electronic, protective, physical or cyber security, the private security industry performs a vital and growing role as part of Australia’s national security mix, contributing to the safety, resilience, and prosperity of our nation. Yet despite this, regulatory inconsistencies between jurisdictions continues to create inherent vulnerabilities which weaken our national security. This session addresses why strengthening private security industry capability and capacity is crucial to our national security.
