What Role can AV Professionals Play in Designing for Education Spaces?

Faculty are SMEs in their fields but do not always have a complete understanding of the ins and outs of the technology that can be utilized to enhance the learning experience, be it in person or remote. What role do AV professionals play in assisting these stakeholders in designing the “classroom” experience? Has this role evolved given the changes to the classroom that have come with COVID-19?
