CEO Christopher Lane BHSc; MComp Sc is an entrepreneur and technology executive with more than 20 years experience in the technology industry. He is a recognized leader and innovator in the field, acknowledged with his membership of the “National Artificial Intelligence Centre (Australia): AI at Scale Think Tank”. He has considerable experience in engaging and managing relationships with key stakeholders when managing project scoping, implementation and operations.

He is the founder of SmartAIConnect, which he started with key individuals in the AI sector recognising the need for AI applications to include ethics, assurance and governance controls in response to the expansion of AI into everyday business applications. Chris has founded two other technology companies - Coastalwatch, a popular surf forecasting and reporting platform that provides real-time information on surfing conditions at beaches across Australia, and 3CT, a technology consulting firm that provides data analytics, machine learning and AI services to businesses.
