Jacinta Carroll is a researcher and strategic adviser in security and defence. She is an internationally recognised security expert, with experience in the Australian government, thinktanks and universities. Her expertise is sought for comment and testimony on national security, defence, international security, terrorism and counter-terrorism, and international relations. Jacinta was the inaugural head of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute’s Counter-Terrorism Policy Centre, Senior Fellow at the Australian National University’s National Security College and she holds Visiting Fellowships. She has taught security professionals in Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, the USA, and the Middle East. She is an experienced board member.
