Julian is a security risk management consultant and trainer. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (F.ISRM) and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). With over 35 years security and risk management experience on five continents, his background includes Company Director, Chief Security Officer, and CEO in the commercial, government, and not-for-profit sectors.

Roles include CEO of a $30 million IT systems integrator, co-founder and Divisional Manager for a $350 million ASX listed entity, Manager of Property & Security for the Australian government’s most extensive international network, Security Manager for Australia’s largest natural resources project, Senior Risk Adviser for Australia’s largest health organization, Operations Manager for an African exploration company, and Head of Risk for an Indonesian mining operation. He is also the author of several books and lead author of the Security Risk Management Body Of Knowledge (SRMBOK).
