Speaker Profile

Pete has been involved in the AV and intelligent buildings industries for over 20 years, with varied roles including integrator, consultant, manufacturer’s representative and end-client technology team member. For more than half his career, he has been a contributor to AVIXA’s standards development efforts. He participated in the first standard, Audio Coverage Uniformity, has been a member of the Standards Steering Committee and continues to be involved in new standard working groups. Pete is passionate about the need to raise the building technology industry’s professional profile and sees standards and certification as key contributors to this process.
