Rachell DeLuca is a professional in the protective security industry with over 25 years of experience, beginning in security alarm monitoring in 1998, during which she recognised a clear affinity for protective security and risk as a career path.
She pursued formal education while working across different areas of the industry to build her first-hand experience.
As founder and Director of Protective Security Advisory Pty Ltd, a 100% Australian-owned independent consultancy with no affiliations to equipment suppliers or vendors, Rachell provides clients with strategic approaches to security risk management.
Her extensive experience enables her to identify the root causes of problems and develop solutions that deliver a measurable reduction in risk exposure.
She is a SCEC-endorsed security consultant whose expertise spans security risk, threat and vulnerability assessment, technical system design, strategy and policy development, CPTED analysis, and much more. Projects have been delivered across Australia and internationally.
Rachell’s dedication to the discipline has been recognised by the industry. She was awarded the 2017 OSPA for Most Outstanding Security Consultant in Australia and named Protective Security Champion in the 2023 Australian Women in Security Awards. She remains actively involved in the development of the security and risk industry, contributing at the board level to standards development and industry associations, including the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) and the Australian Women in Security Network.
