Over the years, he has been involved with leading Audio and Visual Technology companies that embraced innovation and provided solutions that helped their customers present information and entertainment to the guests.

As the Head of Products at Westan, he is fortunate to have the opportunity to work with different vendors and manufacturers and see the evolution of technology and its application in the real world. Sharing ideas and visions of the future with technology companies and offering vital feedback on what customers want, Richie is able to play a small role in how we see and apply technology that offers great customer experience and value-adding technology.

Richie’s understanding of AV technology extends to infrastructure, end devices, IPTV, tablet solutions and integration of different solutions. His experience also extends to In-Room solutions in the hospitality world, working with all the major hotel brands, but also in Student living, mining accommodation, and health organisations including hospitals and aged care accommodations.

Working with owners, consultants, operators, and integrators in the industry, Richie has been offered the opportunity to better understand the different perspectives on how the investment into technology is valued, and its limitations due to budget constraints.
