Ross Judd
St Vincent's Hospital Sydney
Ross enjoyed a career of over 15 years with NSW Police including; general duties; street operations in the CBD, Kings Cross and Redfern before becoming a Criminal intelligence analyst, with the Major Crime Squad, South Region. During his service, he was a recipient of the Bravery Medal (Her Majesty Queen Victoria II), NSW Police Valour Medal among other medals and citations.
In 1997, after leaving the Police Service, he commenced as Security Manager, Brambles Security Services, Lane Cove Branch and later promoted to the Risk & Investigation Manager – NSW / ACT Chubb Security Services, until 2002.
In July 2002, Ross was appointed as the Security Services Manager, St Vincent’s Health Network and St Vincent’s Private Hospital across the Darlinghurst campus, his current role.
Ross is a member of the NSW Health Security Managers' Liaison Committee and the ‘Security In Hospitals’ Review Working Party.
He has been collaborating with the St Vincent’s clinical team on several projects, including code Black (Violence), restraint and seclusion to improve safety within the Hospital security setting.
