Audio Visual Manager, Swinburne University of Technology & President, AETM
For the past 4 years Scott has bees the AV Manager at Swinburne University of Technology with responsibility for the AV infrastructure, learning & meeting spaces, technical support and event teams. Previously Scott worked at Monash University for over 25 years in the Television, Audiovisual and IT divisions.
As an experienced AV Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education , Scott’s focus is on enabling his AV Department by standardising the learning and meeting space solutions, installation processes and delivery, and process compliance.
This experience in the higher education sector lead to him to join the AETM where he has been an Executive Officer of the association for the past eight years, currently sitting as President.
Scott strongly supports workforce development in both his Swinburne and AETM roles; setting the AVIXA CTS as the minimum requirement at Swinburne to be achieved in a staff members first 6 months of employment.
