Security Exhibition 2014: Day Two

Day two of Security 2014 has just wound up at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre with tomorrow; Friday, the final day of the event.

Here at the show there’s been a great amount of visitors through the halls, interacting with the big brands exhibiting here at the show, asking questions and enquiring about products.

Last night after the show closed, many exhibitors and visitors attended the long running Security Gala Dinner. Pre dinner drinks just along Southwharf at Cargo Hall preceeded the main event at Showtime. Over 300 people were treated to an evening of fine dining, numerous drink offerings, a live band and a guest stand up comedian in Dave O’Neil. Well known television and radio comedian Dave Hughes was also the emcee during proceedings.

The ASIAL Conference continued to be popular with many of today’s sessions attracting lots of ASIAL delegates and visitors alike. One of the highlights was the second morning session with Douglas Florence Sernior, the Business Development Director Global Gaming for Avigilon and his video presentation ‘How Digital CCTV is Changing Casino and Gaming Security’ then followed by a live Skype question and answer.

The final day of Security 2014 runs from 9:30am until 2:30pm tomorrow (Friday 6th of June). Registration is free online here.
